Mississippi’s 200th Birthday Bash

October 19 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Moorhead Garden Club with assistance of Mississippi Delta Community College and the Town of Moorhead is hosting a Mississippi’s 200th Birthday Bash on October 19, 2017, 10:00 a.m., at the historic site of “Where the Southern Crosses the Yellow Dog” railroads near Calhoun Park, Moorhead, MS.  Gov. Phil Bryant, native of Moorhead, is the guest speaker.  In addition to the birthday party, there will be a special tribute to the 16 Troops who “Gave Their All” in a plane crash on July 10, 2017,  Also a Patriotic Monument will be dedicated.  All are invited to attend
